Lawn Weed Solutions
A thick lawn is the best herbicide your lawn can have. Crabgrass seed along with dandelions and others need full sun to germinate. No sun, no weeds. You still have time to put down Prodiamine weed seed preventer to keep the weed count down if you have a thin lawn. Remember, Fertilome All Season Lawn Food with Prodiamine controls weed seed up to 8 months, all others just up to 90 days.

To kill weeds that have already germinated use Weed Free Zone which is a selective post-emergent herbicide that only kills the weeds not the grass.

Take advantage of our weekend sale and apply the Fertilome product with Prodiamine and rest easy this product will prevent weed seeds from germinating up to 8 months.

Sale Price $27.19 (reg. price $33.99)

Put down this weekend before the sun comes out causing new weed seeds to germinate.
Right Answers for Garden Questions

To all Garden Center Personnel and lawn and landscape experts
To all garden center personal and lawn and landscape experts! If you don’t know the answer to a customer’s question, don’t guess. Chances are you’ll be wrong and our whole industry suffers as homeowners will assume none of us in the industry know anything. There is nothing wrong with the expression “I don’t know or I’m not sure but I’ll find out and contact you”. No one is expected to know everything. Remember, Mother Nature is in charge and she can keep us all some what inexperienced

To all Gardeners Seeking Answers

It's still too Early to Plant Annual Flowers
Don't Get Too Impatient

It's still too early to plant annuals in your soil. It's too wet and too cool. We need a lot more sun and some wind to help the excess moisture dry our flower and veggie gardens.
Bring us Your Plant/Lawn Samples for Evaluation
As wet and cool as it has been you can expect some disease problems to certain trees, shrubs and perennials. Before you try your own home remedy to treat, bring in foliage samples to our Garden Centre. You might not have to do anything and you will feel better knowing what’s going on in your yard. This includes samples of your lawn. For that, we need a 12” square piece of your lawn showing whatever is concerning you.
