Plants of the Week
Tropical plant hints and tips

All love a luke warm shower especially any with fuzzy leaves. Leave in shower/tub for a couple of hours to drain off excess water
.
Do not fertilize during winter dormancy.

Keep away from working heat source or Door opening to outside.

Water only when dry. Check weekly, just because one plant is dry doesn't mean all the plants are dry. Black leaf tips - are water stress markings - too much, back off.

Boston Ferns and other tropicals that have lots of difficulty staying green - cut back and water 7 to 10 days (if dry)

Repotting - check soil clump in pot. Wrapped roots aren't harmful. Cut roots back or upsize pot but leave alone if the plant is at its max size for its location.
