Solutions for Drought Devastation |

| The summer and fall drought of 2010 created a lot of problems for our lawns and landscapes. The lawns will be relatively easy to fix with some seeding and fertilization. The Fertilome Three Step program will get your lawn back into shape. Continued use of the program will make the grass stronger so the next drought won’t be as devastating. The drought problems with your landscape plants could be a bit more complicated. You may have some that did not survive last season. When mature sized plants die it creates an opportunity for you to change part of your landscape with a new landscape project. If you would like our highest level of service you can work with one of our talented landscape designers. If you consider yourself a “Do it Yourselfer” you can also work with one of the Certified Nursery Technicians at our retail store. We also have design services that fall in between. No matter what your situation we welcome an opportunity to help you. |

Bloomin’s Favorite Trees and Shrubs The plants discussed in this class are all the favorites of the employees of Bloomin Garden Center and Denny McKeown Landscape. Some of the plants are oldies but goodies while others are new. We’ve asked our designers and retail nursery technicians to pick their favorite three plants, a tree, a shrub, and a perennial. The employees will introduce the plants to you and explain why they like them. Handouts with pictures and descriptions will be provided. |
